Lucky 7 Meme

Today, for the Buccaneer Blogfest, I’m meant to be sharing my feelings and opinions about social media and it’s relation to writing and reading …
I won’t be participating in this one. But do pop over to either Sharon’s or Courtney’s blog and stroll through the links there.

So what am I doing instead?
The Lucky 7 Meme Christine Rains was giving out to whoever some time back.

For those of you who don’t know the rules:

1. Go to page 77 of your current manuscript
2. Go down to line 7.
3. Copy down the next 7 lines.
4. Tag 7 others. (I won’t be tagging anyone. But you can take it if you want.)
The last time I did this, I used Dark One’s Mistress, and it didn’t have a page 77 at the time. It does now, but I shan’t be using that either.
As I flicked through my various stories I found a sweet little thing had happened in The Rogue King: due to there only being seven lines on page 77, this excerpt comes straight from the beginning of Chapter Seven. ^_^

Lasil stormed down the corridors of Rogue Rise, fuming over Veng’s rejection even after four days of flying. Not that the trip here hadn’t been uncomfortable enough. He’d seemed almost hesitant to carry her, as if he feared she’d attempt to seduce him again once they were in the air.
She wrenched open the door to Laccindy’s chambers, unconcerned about surprising the woman while she was entertaining anyone. The spotted Roguess preferred the man’s room for that sort of thing.
