Last month, I got the kernel of an idea to enter into a flash fiction contest. It was set in the same world as the spellster series, just far in the past with the pov being one of the original elven refugees.
But I got a little carried away with the narrative and, by the end of the week, I’d 3600 words… just a touch beyond the 300 limit.
Now, it’ll release on the 12th of May, but you can order it on Amazon or Kobo before then…

LOL. I’ve been there before with something small turning into something much larger. Jack’s story was only supposed to be about 900 words…

I can see why. There was no way you could’ve told Jack’s story in 900 words.
